A very alert and driven animal there is no doubting that Nero is a working dog and he thrives with a task to complete; this boy has a relatively high pain threshold and will push himself to the limits, especially to protect his home and his self-designated pack. He is a smart dog, though, and while a loyal dog Nero will always want something to come out of his actions.
